CoolDrain Quick Disconnect Fittings:

FluidXchange offers 3 NPT thread type QD fittings for converting fleets for serviceability with the 2V-700. The fittings are made with the standard ISO 16028 profile (per TMC recommended practice). These fittings are made of brass with Viton seals with 5 gallons per minute flow rate. Utilizing the Retro-Fit/Air-Extraction Kit, most all cooling systems can be easily converted for use with the 2V-700. At the surge tank or radiator cap a vacuum is pulled on the system. On the bottom radiator tank or cross over pipe the petcock (or pipe plug)is removed and a CoolDrain quick disconnect fitting is installed. The quick disconnect fittings come in 3 sizes, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ NPT to fit most applications. The female CoolDrain mating connector is used with all 3 sizes.
